What to expect along your Invisalign journey at
Henley Dental
Step
1
Your First Appointment
At your first appointment your Henley Dentist will assess your suitability for Dental Implants. After taking a look at your teeth, we will take some x-rays, scans and photos of your smile, which will be used to create an accurate 3D image using innovative software. We will then talk through the treatment plan, answering any questions and showing you a preview of how your smile will look after treatment.
Step
2
Your Individualised Treatment Plan
Using all of this information we will create a unique treatment plan based on your individual smile and your lifestyle. It may be the case that treatment is needed to address any oral health issues before placing the implants.
Step
3
Treatment
When you are happy with the treatment plan, you can approve it and begin treatment. The treatment period can vary in length – depending on whether there are other treatments needed and how many implants will be placed. If you are nervous or experience dental anxiety, we offer a music, Netflix or sleep option so you can be comfortable throughout the treatment.
Step
4
The Healing Period
The healing period varies from patient to patient spanning on average 6 weeks to 6 months.
Step
5
Your Final Appointment
Once the implant has healed, at your final appointment, your Henley Dentist will ensure that all the implants are securely fixed and you have the smile of your dreams.
Step
6
Aftercare
Just like natural teeth you should do regular check ups at Henley Dental.

“I’m glad I was able to replace my molar so that I could retain my chewing ability with my back teeth, which will be important as I get older. I feel confident that the treatment was done in the best possible way.”
