For a long-lasting smile, porcelain veneers are an excellent choice. They are:
Permanent
Highly Stain-Resistant
Durable (lasting 25+ years)
Scratch Resistant
Minimal Maintenance required
Natural in look and feel

Fantastic medical centre - like nothing else in Sydney.
The ease of parking on arrival, to being able to see the doctors I know and trust, with the team they have created around them gives me peace of mind. It is a modern, clean and beautiful practice.
I also saw the physio (Mitch) for my lower back pain, truly - the best experience I have had in years - knowledge, care and treatment style was first class.
Lovely, clean modern practice. Reception staff are very friendly and accomodating. The doctors are very thorough and triage all their patients. There is a wide range of services/practioners. From Doctors to Dentists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Dietitan, Pain specialist and Paediatrician. I highly recommend coming to this one stop medical shop.
What an incredible medical centre! I've tried several doctors in the area, but haven't been to one as good as this centre. There was no wait time and the doctor knew exactly what my concern was and gave me clear explanation and direction. Great facilities and extremely clean in these uncertain times!
Step
1
Your First Appointment
At your first appointment, your dentist will assess your suitability for dental implants. After taking a look at your teeth, we will take some x-rays, scans, and photos of your smile, so that we can create accurate 3D digital images using our innovative software.
We will then take you through the tooth implant treatment plan, answer any questions you may have, and provide you with a preview of how your smile will look after treatment.
Step
2
Your Individualised Treatment Plan
With all of this information, we create a unique treatment plan based on your individual smile and lifestyle.
It may be the case that treatment is needed to address any oral health issues before placing the dental implants.
Step
3
Treatment Procedure
When you are happy with the treatment plan, you can approve it and begin treatment.
This procedure only takes less than half an hour, but there may be other steps involved in getting your teeth replaced if you want them done professionally and with great results!
The implant placement is not painful at all – it is easier than tooth removal. One implant takes less than half an hour to be placed.
If you are nervous, or experience dental anxiety, we offer music, Netflix, or sleep options to help take your mind off the appointment. This ensures that you remain comfortable throughout the entire treatment.
Step
4
The healing process
The tooth implant healing period varies from patient to patient, however generally spans an average of 6 weeks to 4 months.
Step
5
Your final stage
At the final stage – and once the tooth implant has healed. Your dentist will ensure that all the implants are securely fixed, and then produces a cap to be supported by the implant.
From there, you can smile, laugh, and eat without worry!
Dental veneers are a premier cosmetic treatment. While the cost of a porcelain veneer can range significantly, this depends on the quality of the veneers and the degree to which you would like them colour-matched to your existing teeth.
When maintained well, veneers can last for 10 to 15 years — and in many cases, even longer. However, like natural teeth, day-to-day activities can result in gradual wear and tear of your porcelain veneers.
Just like natural teeth, you need to maintain your dental veneers properly with regular 6-monthly check-up appointments. You also need to brush and floss your teeth daily.
Most patients report no pain or discomfort at all during treatment. This is because the procedure is minimally invasive. The only preparation required for veneers is the removal of a thin layer of enamel from your teeth.
Treatment times vary from patient to patient, but for most patients, the entire process usually takes 3 to 4 sessions, including the consultation.
In many cases, the answer is yes. If you’re insured, there is a good chance that your health insurance policy covers your veneer treatment. Most private health insurance funds cover dental care as part of their General treatment, Extras, or Ancillary section.
Free consultations at Advanced Health Medical & Dental Centre in Bankstown are available exclusively for dental implants and dental veneers.
